The Luxembourg Circular EconomyHotspot 2017 is taking place from 20 - 22 June 2017 and is taking the form of International conferences, workshops and company visits.

The Circular Hotspot 2017 is a major event in the field of circular economy and is jointly developed and organised by Luxinnovation, the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure and the Chamber of Commerce.

Luxembourg is keen to showcase circularity in action by exhibiting the progress made over the last years at the Luxembourg Circular Economy Hotspot 2017. This major three-day event includes company and pilot project visits as well as offer a forum for debate, exchange, face-to-face meetings and networking for 160 delegates from all around the world. The circular economy (CE) is an important paradigm shift for all of us and we are, therefore, inviting our friends from both the Greater Region and the entire Benelux union to partner up for the event.

From 20 to 22 June 2017, participants will hear from high-level government and industry leaders about how to turn challenges into opportunities by embracing the circular economy as a key lever for sustainable growth and profitability.

The largest part of the programme, however, will be devoted to project and company visits that will give participants insight into Luxembourg’s circular innovations and demonstrate how enterprises and other stakeholders can be an engine for change. The detailed programme, which is still in the development phase and might be subject to minor changes, can be found at www.circularhotspot2017.lu
