The INDR (Institut National pour le Développement Durable et la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises), in collaboration with the Luxembourg School for Commerce (LSC), has organised a comprehensive training programme addressing the essential themes of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The programme has been designed to target any business excutive, HR director, QSE manager or designated employees of a company interested in learning more about CSR, and is based on an informative and easy to use Entreprise Socialement Responsable (ESR) Guide to help a particular company evaluate its level of responsibility.

The aim of the Guide, developed in partnership with key CSR actors in Luxembourg, is to demonstrate how CSR creates value for both society and the company itself and is available online at www.esr.lu.

The training programme, comprised of four half-day sessions, also includes an awareness day dedicated to the discovery and use of the CSR Guide. The subsequent modules involve the following topics:

07/10/2015 - CSR Assessment and ESR: Introduction to ESR Evaluation Form

The training is mainly based on the discovery of ESR Guide. With this awareness session on CSR and the ESR label, participants will be better able to formalise their CSR approach and to measure the benefits.

21/10/2015 - CSR Strategy: Identifying and Situating Corporate Responsibility

CSR Implementation Training Strategy allows companies to determine their responsibility, develop a CSR strategy and discover the benefits through the themes contained in the ESR Guide.

11/11/2015 - CSR and Governance: Ensuring Good Corporate Governance

The training aims to deepen the concepts of corporate governance and CSR, to align the company's mission, its goals and its commitment to societal expectations, to wonder about the internal organisation of his company in order to improve governance and adopt a responsible management of its stakeholders.

25/11/2015 - CSR and Social: Action on the Human Capital of the Company

The training aims to consider the HR function as the key position in the company to anchor CSR, to rethink the role of employees as key stakeholders and performance driver in business and to discover how to behave responsibly throughout the lifecycle of employees in the company.

02/12/2015 - CSR and Environment: Developing an Effective Environmental Policy

The training provides an understanding of the foundations and evolution of concepts of sustainable development in the matter of CSR to develop an effective environmental policy for the company and its entire value chain, and thus limit its negative externalities whilst increasing the efficiency of its activities.
