The organisers of the 5th Russian Charity Ball held on 16 January 2016 have announced that they have donated €50,000 as a result of proceeds of the ball.
Two donations, each of €25,000, were presented to the Russian Podsolnukh-Sunflower Foundation for the purchase of medicines for children with immunodeficient disease, and to SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde, towards their project of convalescence for children in areas affected by the conflict in Lugansk in Ukraine and to support a Family support Center project in Pskov in Russia.
The Russian Club of Luxembourg and the Organising Committee of the Russian Charity Ball in Luxembourg have stressed that 2016 was a great success thanks to the genorosity of the sponsors, partners, donors and participants.
In five years of operation, the Russian Charity Ball in Luxembourg has raised a total of €230,000.
