As every year, the energy supplier Enovos supports the "Relais pour la Vie" (Relay for Life) event organised by the Fondation Cancer in Luxembourg.
On Tuesday, Enovos Luxembourg S.A., represented by Erny Huberty, Head of Corporate Marketing, and Danny Manso, Head of Corporate Communications, presented a cheque for €7,318 to Lucienne Thommes, director of the Fondation Cancer.
This amount is equivalent to 7,318 km pedalled by visitors (1km = €1) during the whole week-end dedicated to the fight against cancer. The bicycles used were generously provided by Velocenter Goedert.
For 11 years, the Fondation Cancer has organised the "Relais pour la Vie" event which shows the solidarity of all to patients and strives to break the taboo of cancer.
The Fondation Cancer is a charitable institution, established in 1994, having three objectives: cancer information, assistance to cancer patients and the financial support of research. To achieve these objectives, the Fondation Cancer, a private and independent organisation and a neutral initiative, performs many actions and issues publications and provides various services to patients. All these activities can be carried out only through the generosity of individuals and companies wanting to engage for the company, such as Enovos.
