Following the "Empty Dressing" organised by the Stëmm von der Strooss non-profit charity, in partnership with the Auchan Kirchberg Shopping Centre, which took place from 6 to 8 July 2017, nearly 2.2 tonnes of clothing were collected.
Two-thirds of these garments were donated to the homeless and the most deprived at a large auction organized on Tuesday 11 July 2017 at premises of Stëmm von der Strooss (7 rue de la Fonderie) in Hollerich. The remainder was distributed on the Kleederstuff of Esch-sur-Alzette and the Rue de la Fonderie.
This action attracted a great deal of interest among the beneficiaries of the association, since a long queue was formed in front of the building from 11:30, and did not relent until 16:00. People in need were delighted with the clothes, shoes and bags to better cope with the difficulties of their daily lives.
