140 associates at Goodyear Luxembourg were recently honoured at an evening event at Diekirch's 'Al Seeërei' for their decades of dedication to the company.
Overall, 14 women and 126 men were congratulated for 25, 30, 35 and even 40 years of services with Goodyear Luxembourg, amounting to a total of 4,085 years and contributing to the success of the company, according to director of Human Resources for the company, Silvia Sitzen.
Goodyear Luxembourg's production director, Tim Davis, highlighted the changes and challenges experienced by the 'Tire Plant' over the years, claiming that it has invested in ambitious projects to alter and improve the overall capacity of the existing production.
"Through your exemplary work, we were able to launch more than 1,000 new products in 2015 to the European and Asian markets," commented Carlos Cipollitti, general director of the Goodyear Innovation Center Luxembourg (GIC*L), as he congratulated the jubilees. "Most remarkable highlights were certainly the launch of our new 'Vector 4 Seasons' and thanks to your help we have the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 and Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 ultra high performance tyres ready for sales starting spring 2016."
The evening event enabled guests to follow multimedia retrospectives and relive the most important events of the years in which the jubilees joined the company. A dinner show was followed by the handing out of a small gift to each of the guests as a souvenir.
