FundRock Management Company S.A. has announced that it has appointed Enda Fahy, an experienced real estate and Private Equityexecutive, to head up the Illiquid Alternatives function at its Luxembourg Headquarters. 

FundRock, one of the largest independent UCITS and AIFM investment management companies in Europe, recently opened its Irish branch and announced its intention to acquire a UK-based ACD. FundRock, as part of its 5 year strategy, is also developing its current AIFM business to cover illiquid assets. FundRock has made the appointment in order to maintain an excellent level of service through its broadened offering.

Over the 15 year course of his career to date, Enda has acquired extensive experience in the Real Estate and Private Equity industries. Prior to relocating to Luxembourg, he was based in London for 10 years heading up the Cosgrave Group family office. His expertise spans the world of construction, property investment and asset management, as well as extensive experience of Private Equity investing. Enda has also worked at State Street Luxembourg and in a senior role at Lidl Ireland GmbH. He will also act as Conducting Officer for Alternative Investments.

With hands-on expertise in fund structuring and Real Estate and Private Equity investment, Enda’s appointment will add substantial expertise to FundRock’s existing professional team, and will support FundRock’s clients in navigating the landscape of legal and regulatory obligations for illiquid AIFM funds and their directors.

Enda graduated from the University of Limerick with an LLB in Law and European Studies in 2003. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
