Wildgen, a leading Luxembourg business law firm, has announced its latest career moves; after the recent arrival of the investment funds Partner Antonios Nezeritis, Wildgen has confirmed the development of the firm with the election of Lionel Bonifazzi and Isabelle Charlier as Partners, experts in corporate law; the firm also promoted seven Associates to Senior Associates.

The firm is strengthening the Corporate Law department with the appointment of two Partners: Lionel Bonifazzi and Isabelle Charlier. With his years of experience in corporate law, tax law and accounting law, Lionel Bonifazzi brings all of his expertise to the firm’s clients. As a SOPARFI expert, he recently took part as a speaker with François Brouxel (Managing Partner) at the conference “Challenges for the SOPARFI, the top investment vehicle in Luxembourg” organised by Vistra Luxembourg and Kluwer Formations. Isabelle Charlier is a specialist in multi-jurisdictional deals with corporate structuring projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of companies and transactional business law. As a recognised specialist in corporate law, Isabelle has been in charge of the Wildgen internal working group on the reform of the Luxembourg company law regime. Isabelle also has extensive knowledge in the areas of transport with a specific focus on maritime law (she is a Board member of the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster).

The Corporate Law department also promoted three employees to Senior Associates: Thomas Biermeyer, Jérémie Ferrian and Fleur Marchal. Thomas Biermeyer specialises in cross-border corporate and commercial transactions and assists clients particularly on the international and EU aspects of their operations. He is the author of the study on the application of the Cross-Border Merger Directive conducted for the European Commission and has collaborated with the European Parliament on different studies in the field of EU company law. Jérémie Ferrian, also an expert in tax law, advises an international clientele on tax structuring, and on tax and corporate aspects of company reorganisations and relocation, corporate financing and debt restructuring. Jérémie is also active in the issuance of debt securities in regulated and unregulated markets. Fleur Marchal specialises in corporate transactions with a particular focus on domestic and international M&A, private equity and general corporate law matters. Recently, she has advised a US-based private equity house in relation to strategic acquisitions, restructurings and financings.

Meanwhile, the Commercial, Litigation and Labour department sees the promotion of two Associates to Senior Associates: Claudio Orlando and Jil Roeser. Claudio Orlando specialises in civil law, commercial law and criminal law. He also has strong experience in construction law, on which he has written numerous articles and has spoken at various conferences. Jil Roeser specialises in litigation and labour law. With seven years of experience at Wildgen, she also advises her clients on corporate law issues.

The firm also promoted Daniel Krauspenhaar (Banking and Finance) and Emma Massicard (Investment Funds) to Senior Associates. Daniel’s activity focuses on financial restructurings as well as financial transactions and regulatory banking matters. Daniel is a member of the Wildgen German Desk. Emma Massicard provides the firm’s clients with expertise in the fields of investment funds and corporate law.

In addition, the firm promoted Ester Colaci (Litigation department), Guillaume Dally (IP/TMT department) and Haoyang Yan (Corporate Law department) to Associates.
