Nico Binsfeld was today announced as the first CEO of the House of Training, the new Continue Vocational Training (CVT) entity established by the Chamber of Commerce and the Association des Banques et Banquiers Luxembourg (ABBL).

Nico Binsfeld has gained experience as CEO of Post Telecom PSF SA, as well as Head of Nokia Siemens Networks Luxembourg from 2007-2010, several management positions with Siemens Luxembourg, and Vice President of Telecom and Transmission at Broadcasting Centre Europe (ECB).

Nico Binsfeld obtained his MSc degree in Electronics from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen in Germany and an MBA from the Open University in the UK. He is also presently a Board Member of ICT Luxembourg for the 'e-skills' component.

Nico Binsfeld will be drawing on this experience in his new capactiy as CEO of the House of Training, established to increase readability and the quality of available CVT in Luxembourg. The entity was developed by the Chamber of Commerce and ABBL after they announced cooperation plans last November for their respective CVT training organisations, the LSC and IFBL.

The collaboration resulted in the creation of a common brand, the House of Training, which aims to move towards an autonomous and legally independent training structure. The new body is installed at the Chamber of Commerce's Kirchberg headquarters.
