Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, will be in Mumbai, India, this coming week for a financial mission.
From Monday 25 to Thursday 28 June 2018, Minister Gramgena will visit India's economic capital and will participate in the General Assembly of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, where he will speak on the theme of innovation and responsible finance. Luxembourg was the first European country to become a member of this new multilateral institution, created in 2015.
Minister Gramegna will also have meetings with his Indian counterpart, as well as with the central bank and regulator, to discuss bilateral relations and possible collaborations in the field of fintech and responsible finance.
In addition, Minister Gramegna will have meetings with senior economic and financial leaders to discuss their development plans and the role Luxembourg's financial centre could play in this context.
