Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Étienne Schneider and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn will attend the NATO Summit in Brussels on 11 and 12 July 2018.

At the centre of the summit discussions, which will bring together the heads of state and government, foreign ministers and defence ministers of the 29 NATO members, will feature the issue of burden-sharing and current challenges for the Alliance, namely Euro-Atlantic security, including Russia and terrorism.

The strategic approach for the Middle East and North Africa, NATO's partnerships, and the adaptation and modernization of the Alliance will also be on the agenda and enhanced cooperation between NATO and the European Union will similarly be discussed at the summit.
