On 21 and 22 March 2019, Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel participated in the European Council meeting in Brussels.
The European Council meeting focused on this occasion on strengthening the economic base of Europe. EU leaders also discussed climate change, the next summit with China and ways to fight misinformation.
The EU27 leaders similarly discussed the latest developments following the UK's Article 50 notification.
