Luxembourg's Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, will pay an official visit to Georgia tomorrow, Tuesday 20 February 2018, on the invitation of Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

During his visit to Georgia's capital city, Tbilisi, Minister Asselborn will be received by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and will meet, in addition to his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janeliidze, Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia and Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.

The talks between Minister Asselborn and the Georgian authorities will review bilateral relations between the Grand Duchy and Georgia and take stock of the internal situation in Georgia. Discussions will also focus on the latest regional developments, before being devoted to major issues of European and international political events as well as to cooperation in multilateral fora.​
