This year's edition of the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair will take place this weekend from Friday 29 June to Sunday 1 July 2018.

The 2018 edition of the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair, Luxembourg's largest outdoor fair, will centre around the theme of "Forest and wood". Indeed, in Luxembourg, forests cover some 92,000 ha, a little over a third of the national territory and the wood sector represents some 1,500 companies and 11,000 jobs. Around 35,000 visitors are expected on the site during these three days.

Present at this year's fair will be the Luxembourg Wood Cluster, managed by Luxinnovation, with a stand of 70 m2. The Luxembourg Wood Cluster will showcase the entire wood industry of the country and the Greater Region and will host a dozen member companies who will present their regional wood products, to highlight the diversity of the sector and the varied uses of regional, sustainable wood.

The Order of Architects and Consulting Engineers (OAI) will also be participating at the stand where they will present a film featuring more than 50 wooden constructions in Luxembourg and showing the importance of architects and consulting engineers in the development and growth of wood construction in Luxembourg.

Created at the end of 2016, the Luxembourg Wood Cluster now has more than 150 members and acts as an exchange platform for all players in the sector, ranging from the production of wood in the forest to the final consumer of wood products.
