Recently, the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (AMCHAM) delivered one of its Newcomer Orientation Courses for the first time in Russian to a group of Russian-speaking expatriates who have recently moved to the Grand Duchy to live and work.

The course was delivered by Bakhtiyar Mammadov, founder of Industrial Technical Solutions S.a.r.l (ITS), and his team at the Chamber de Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. This is the first Russian-language course of the Newcomers Orientation Course series organised by AMCHAM, which is also available in English and Portuguese. The courses are run under the auspices of, and with the funding support of, the “Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund” (AMIF) and the Luxembourg Reception and Integration Agency / Ministry of Family and Integration (OLAI).

A total of 27 members of the Russian-speaking community legally residing in Luxembourg signed up for the course and spent 6 hours on a recent Saturday to discover many aspects the make living and working in Luxembourg easier.

At the start of the course, Paul Schoenberg, AMCHAM Chairman, warmly welcomed new members of Russian-speaking community of Luxembourg. Each attendee was presented with a free copy of current AMCHAM "Doing Business in Luxembourg" book, a comprehensive guide to setting up, running a business and living in Luxembourg.
