This year's Art2Cure exhibition will see a move from Esch-sur-Alzette to Luxembourg City, with the headquarters of BIL hosting the event from 25 June to 2 September 2016.
This year, 28 local and international artists are participating and will donate a large percentage of their sales to research at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), in the fields of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
The organisers are excited to have a large variety of artists working in different media such as Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture and Photography. This year, three French artists have also been invitied to participate, via a collaboration with the Galerie Herve Lancelin.
Last year the event sold almost €40,000 wort of art and this year teh organisers aim to double that amount.
