On 6 October 2016, Luxembourgish artist Chantal Maquet held the opening of her art exhibition “Der Täter ist einer von uns” in OPENSPACE at the Annexes of the Château de Bourglinster.
The exhibition will last from 7 October to 16 October 2016 and is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday between 14:00 and 19:00.
During the exhibition, Luxembourg-born Chantal Maquet will present her new series of paintings and art works under the theme of living in an uncertain world. She explores this theme of uncertainty through the use of serene images, mixing the beautiful with the strange with carefully chosen symbols and a unique chromatic palette which succeeds in adding a subtly disturbing sensation to her paintings.
As well as her most recent art works, Chantal Maquet will present her polyptych “Please hold the line”, created in 2016 in an artistic residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris, for the first time in Luxembourg.
