"Mockers", François Malingrëy;

The Hervé Lancelin gallery will be exhibiting the works of French artist François Malingrëy for the first time in Luxembourg this Thursday 1 March 2018.

The son of an illustrator, François Malingrëy was born in 1989 in Nancy and went on to graduate from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg in 2013. He developed a figurative technique that he uses to portray a world that remains strange despite its realism and obeys its own laws: recurrently, his works feature anonymous characters- often naked- evolving in unidentified frames, all busy with the banality of a life where only a few things

Awarded at the Salon de Montrouge in 2015, François Malingrëy was exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo in December 2015 and January 2016.

The vernissage of Malingrëy’s exhibition “The Mockers” in Luxembourg this Thursday will provide an opportunity to meet the artist and discover his recent works. The event will take place at Gallery Hervé Lancelin (7, rue Michel Rodange; L-2430 Luxembourg) from 18:00-22:00.
