From this Friday, 23 March 2018, Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg city centre will host a new outdoor exhibition; more than 120 photographic works mounted on 24 panels will greet citizens of and visitors to Luxembourg city presenting the reality of the humanitarian work of the international association Catch a Smile.

This non-profit organisation, founded in November 2015, offers active help to refugees on the borders of Europe. With numerous missions in France, Greece and the Balkan countries, the volunteers of the association witnessed many intense moments, which has been recorded in a series of images. Beyond the suffering and desperation of international protection seekers living in tented camps, the NGO Catch a Smile also presents touching personal stories such as budding friendships and extraordinary projects.

The exhibition will be on place Guillaume II until 6 May. Free entry.​
