The Culture Inside art gallery at 8 Rue Notre Dame in Luxembourg-ville will host an exhibition featuring the artwork of Larissa Strunova from 1 March to 7 April 2018, with the vernissage to be held on the first evening at 18:30.
Larissa Strunowa is an artist of Russian origin who has lived and worked in Germany since 1995. The mysterious universe of her works, both disturbing and fascinating, gives voluptuous silhouettes a captivating aura. From the sculptural aspect of the bodies, the magnified postures and the chosen framing, some works plunge us into scenes inspired by legends and reinvented mythologies. Larissa Strunowa's paintings also reflect a great sensuality that results in a feeling of intimacy shared with the phantasmagorical beings of her works; like a window ajar on a stolen moment.
