Following the overnight snowfall which affected almost all of the Grand Duchy, MeteoLux has issued an Orange Warning that today's snowfall could be as much as 10cm in some places.

Issued at 10:30 on Tuesday, the weather warning comes as the country is already blanketed in a light covering of snow. While a number of small roads that had not yet been gritted by the time this morning's rush hour traffic had started, saw minor accidents this morning, most major roads (national roads and motorways) saw traffic flowing. However, the ACL reported a couple of specific accidents between 07:00 and 08:00 this morning on larger roads, including near Bettembourg, which caused tailbacks.

Currently the greatest risk for snowfalls is around lunchtime and between 19:00 - 20:00 on Tuesday.
