The Grand Ducal Police are on the lookout for a suspect connected to a stabbing which occurred outside the Islamic Cultural Centre in Mamer shortly before 18:00 on Saturday 7 November 2015.
After attacking the victim with a knife, the perpetrator fled the scene and the police yesterday reported that so far the search for the missing suspect had proved unsuccessful.
The police are therefore calling on any witnesses to come forward. The perpetrator was described as a bearded male with a short and stocky build. He reportedly spoke English.
As of yet, the police have not revealed the reason behind the attack, but the victim was said to have not suffered critical injuries.
