The Grand Ducal Police today reported that an arrest has been made in connection with a knife attack which occurred on Saturday 7 November 2015 in Mamer.
At around 18:00 in the evening of last Saturday, an individual was seriously injured in a knife attack outside the Islamic Cultural Centre in Mamer and the perpetrator was reported to have been on the run ever since.
An investigation was launched by the Service de Polic Judiciaire and a suspect was located in Luxembourg City arrested by the Police Special Unit. The police today revealed that the suspect appeared before the examining magistrate on Wednesday and has been charged with attempted murder, with the investigation currently ongoing.
