Fatal accident on N22;

A 25 year-old woman from Belgium died in a road traffic accident on Friday afternoon on the N22 between Redange and Ell.
The accident happened at around 14:00. According to the Grand Ducal Police, the car she was driving moved across the road and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. The woman died at the accident site; the driver of the other vehicle was unhurt.
The public prosecutor ordered a forensics examination be taken of the accident scene and an investigation into the cause of the accident was initiated; the road was closed to all traffic in the interim.
