At the meeting of the Luxembourg government's cabinet on Friday, it approved a budget of €64 million for the construction of a new nursing home in Bascharage.
In order to take into account developments such as the aging of the population and the increase in life expectancy, a 201-bed nursing home is to be built in Bascharage, in the canton of Capellen, on the lands located in "Op Acker".
The nursing home in Bascharage will have a capacity for a diverse range of services; assistance provided will range from simple service to comprehensive care or intensive assistance. These aids will orient themselves and adapt to the real needs of each person concerned.
