Canach house hit by truck;

On Monday morning, a truck travelling from Beyren crashed into a house on the Rue de la Fontaine in Canach.
The accident happened shortly before 08:00 on a corner in the road; the truck went straight ahead a ploughed into the building.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was trapped in the truck's cab and had to be released by the intervention of emergency services from the fire brigade. He was then taken to the hospital on call by the rescue helicopter.
The house was severely damaged as a result of the impact, with some walls completely destroyed.
