Following the floods of Friday 1 June 2018, the regional tourist office of the Mullerthal Region – Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland have confirmed that many damages have already been repaired and that the Mullerthal Trail should be fully accessible again at the beginning of July.

It is thanks to the prompt intervention of teams from CNDS Entraide, the Nature and Forestry Administration and CIG Mëllerdall that a lot of the flood-related damages have been repaired. Assistance was also provided by the Luxembourg Ministry of Economic Affairs, DG Tourism, which took care of the emergency measures and the financial compensation to the affected businesses.

Regarding the closed trails, information is provided on site. Hikers are asked to respect these instructions, as safety cannot be guaranteed beyond these closed areas.
