Heiderscheid Robbery;

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that thieves made off with an automated teller machine (ATM) from Heiderscheid in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident happened at around 03:30 on Saturday morning at the Am Clemensbongert retail district in Heiderscheid.
Due to the force of the explosion, significant damage was caused to the buildings in the entrance area of the shop, and an adjacent store to the cash dispenser was partly damaged.
The police have reported that those involved escaped in a getaway vehicle which is understood to have been an Audi car.
They also stated that there are similarities between a robbery on 21 March in Niederanven in which the modus operandi appears to have been the same.
The police have appealed for witnesses who may have observed suspicious movements in the vicinity of Am Clemensbongert and the Heiderscheid - Martelange area on Saturday morning between 03:00 and 03:45. There is a possibility that an Audi vehicle was noticed. All relevant information should be reported to the investigators by tel: 4997-6237.
