And Princess Stéphanie is to study art history at the Sotheby's Institute, also in London.

The Grand Ducal Court has announced that His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke will follow a post-graduate training course at the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) in London from next September.

Wanting to acquire additional expertise to assume his future responsibilities in the best possible conditions, Prince Guillaume chose the Royal College of Defence Studies in continuity with his experience at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and his university studies in political science.

Created in 1927, every year the RCDS welcomes a hundred people from more than fifty countries. The RCDS provides education in the fields of international relations, geopolitics and management, designed to prepare senior civil servants, diplomats, officers and private sector leaders for senior positions. The courses are organised in partnership with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and King's College London.

Her Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duchess will accompany her husband to Britain. She, in turn, will take advantage of her stay in London to study art history at the Sotheby's Institute.
