Fatal accident near Cruchten;

On Thursday 28 June 2018, a cyclist and a motorcyclist were killed in separate accidents in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
At around 11:30 on the Rue Principale in Deiffelt, passers-by discovered a cyclist who lay motionless on the hard shoulder of the road beside his bicycle. In what appears to have been a hit-and-run, the Public Prosecutir has initiated an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
In a separate incident, a 29 year-old motorcyclist from Germany was travelling from Cructen towards Roost (Bissen) on the CR115 at around 12:30 when he moved across to the opposite lane and crashed into the roadside guardrail. He did not survive his injuries and was declared dead at the scene of the accident. The road had to be closed until 17:00.
