During last week, from 9 to 13 July 2018, as part of the annual visits organised in collaboration with the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO), the Grand-Ducal Court received a total of 658 pupils from cycle 4 of primary schools throughout the Grand Duchy.

As part of their traditional end-of-school excursion, 29 classes from 27 schools across the country discovered the Grand Ducal Palace before the summer opening of the doors to the general public.

The main objective of this initiative is to introduce young audiences to the historic building where, even today, official activities of the sovereigns of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg take place.

From 14 July to 2 September 2018, the Grand Ducal Palace opens its doors and offers guided tours in several languages. Tickets are exclusively for sale at the LCTO on place Guillaume II, and onliner at www.luxembourg-city.com/fr/visite-palaisgrand-ducal

Part of the benefits of these visits will be donated to the Foundation of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess (www.fondation-grand-ducale.lu)
