On Wednesday 25 July 2018, the Cabinet of the Luxembourg government approved the text of a draft convention concerning the acquisition of 40 additional items of equipment from the Luxembourg Science Centre-Groussgasmaschinn a.s.b.l in Differdange.
The 40 additional items cover the fields of simple machines, gravitation, pendulums and collisions, constructions, fluid mechanics, motors, robots, electronics, visible optics, optics infrared and geometrical optics. In addition, the acquisition includes the specialised equipment required for shows and presentations in electricity, mechanics, magnetism, for the kitchen laboratory, fluid room and materials.
Finally, a third component of acquisition includes general equipment related to the reception and organisation of classes and visitors, parking and office equipment of employees.
The costs are chargeable to the Special Fund for the Financing of Private Education Infrastructures and Social and Family Infrastructure.
