The Administration des ponts et chaussées (Luxembourg's Roads Authority) has announced that it will carry out the third of four phases relating to the construction of a new bridge over the A1-A6 motorway at the Croix de Gasperich as part of the Ban de Gasperich development.

The stretch of motorway between the Croix de Cessange and the Croix de Gasperich will be closed in both directions during this week-end, from Friday 31 August at 20:00 to Sunday 2 August at 06:00.

The total duration of the project is approximately 4 months (June to mid-September). From Sunday 2 September 2018, the motorway traffic will again be affected by narrowed roads through the site. Traffic will be allowed use two lanes in both directions for the remaining duration of the project. In view of the narrowing of the lanes, the speed limit will remain at 70 km/h in both directions.

Traffic disturbances are expected until the end of the project.
