Grand Duchess Leads Tour of Grand Ducal Palace

During the recent "Guide for one day" initiative, Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess Marie Teresa led a group of around 30 visitors and acted as tour guide around the grand ducal palace in Luxembourg city.

The "Guide for one day" initiative introduced by Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, is now in its second year, with this year's initiative being longer, from 30 June to 15 September.

The group was delighted to hear the anecdotes told by their guide.

The initiative offer residents who have recently settled in Luxembourg, both newcomers and all those interested, a range of tours full of originality and, above all, authenticity. The "guides" are independent of the tourist offices of which they are not competitors in any way, and offer their free time to accompany and guide visitors to places that are important to them for original and highly personalised visits.
