Early on Monday afternoon, a police patrol became aware of a group of people described as being of non-European origin in a wooded area between Holzem and Capellen, close to the Aire de Capellen.

The incident happened at around 13:00; the police checked the documents of 14 people and established that they were (most likely) refugees from Iraq. They called for support and arranged for the refugees to be brought to Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign Affairs where they could be then looked after.
