His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg yesterday received in audience a delegation from Fairtrade International and the non-governmental organisation Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg at the Grand Ducal Palace.

On this occasion, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke met with Andreas Kratz, Director of Standards of Fairtrade International, Geneviève Krol, Director of Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg, Dario Soto Abril, Managing Director of Fairtrade International, Jean-Louis Zeien, President of Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg, and Lannette Chiti, Climate Change Manager of Fairtrade International.

Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l. is a non-governmental development organisation (NGO) recognised by the State and co-financed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Cooperation.
It draws the attention of the general public to inequalities in world trade and promotes an economic system based on sustainable and fair trade. The non-profit association, founded on 25 March 1992, is a member of Fairtrade International.
