Around 200 people yesterday took part in a solidarity flashmob against sexual violence, organised in Place Winston Churchill in Luxembourg-Ville.

In the context of two conferences organised around the fight against sexual violence in fragile environments, in the presence of Nobel Peace Prize winners Dr. Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad, on 26-27 March 2019, several institutions and companies located near Place Winston Churchill decided spontaneously to organise a joint action (flashmob) to show their solidarity in the fight against violence against female victims.

The aim of the flashmob, which is in the context of the Stand Speak Rise UP event, initiated by Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess, was to bring together a maximum of participants in a human formation according to the symbol "UP".

About 200 people took part in this action, representing the following institutions and companies: Axa Insurance; Luxembourg Stock Exchange; Clifford Chance; Elvinger Hoss Prussen; Étude Notaire Delvaux; LetterOne; the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Equal Opportunities.
