The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a suspect was arrested following an incident of assault in Luxembourg-Belair on Thursday 28 March 2024.
In the early hours of Thursday, the police received reports of an individual who had been stabbed in the leg with a knife in a facility on Route d'Arlon in Luxembourg-Belair. The suspected attacker was caught on-site.
During subsequent investigations, the police seized a kitchen knife, a folding knife, two bags of cannabis / hashish, a set of scales and a large amount of cash.
The alleged attacker was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to hospital.
