A1 Accident near Cents Tunnel;

On Thursday morning, rush-hour traffic around Luxembourg city was badly affected following accidents involving eight vehicles close to the Cents Tunnel.
The accident happened shortly after 06:30 on the A1 motorway shortly before the Cents tunnel, with a total of eight vehicles involved in what the police described as rear-end collisions.
It is understood that in the first accident, three cars and a van were involved, with two separate collisions of two cars each. While there was significant material damage as a result of the collisions, nobody reported any serious injuries.
