Largowing winning 2018 Startup World Cup Semi-Final in Luxembourg;

Yesterday a world-class event, namely the regional semi-final of the Startup World Cup, was held in the Grand Duchy, at which the company Largowind was proclaimed the winner of the edition 2018 in Luxembourg.

Connected Rope is the name of the innovative product created by Largowind, headed by Mathilde Argaud, 32-year-old French Engineer and CEO of the Luxembourg start-up, who proposes a connected design and innovative measurement tool, aiming to guarantee precision at anchor for one's boat. Thus, if your anchor is moving or if your boat is drifting, the Largowind innovation alerts you in real time to act pro-actively.

At the award ceremony yesterday in Luxembourg, Mathilde Argaud declared: "the creation of my company stems above all from a passion for the nautical environment transmitted by my father, who worked in this sector. In the constant search for new ideas and innovation, the association of new technologies, and more particularly connected objects, with the nautical environment appeared to me as an essential and obvious answer to a need and an opportunity for fast development".

Moreover, Mathilde Argaud is already looking to the future. The establishment of its young growth in Luxembourg, in the heart of Europe, represents an excellent opportunity for commercial expansion, to which is added an ambition of continuous development of its product.
