Villeroy & Boch has had two winners of the German Brand Award 2018: The ViClean-I 100 shower toilet was awarded "Brand Innovation of the Year" in the cross-industry "Excellence in Branding" competition class and, in the "Heating & Bathroom" category, the brand / company "Winner" in "Industry Excellence in Branding".

"We are particularly pleased about these two awards. The German Brand Award is so valuable to us because only brands and products nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert panels can participate. ViClean-I 100: Design innovation in shower toilet
 
With ViClean-I 100, Villeroy & Boch sets a new design benchmark for shower toilets: As the entire technology is not integrated in the seat as usual but in the ceramic, ViClean-I 100 looks like a conventional WC and still offers comfortable shower functions. The minimalist look, which is emphasized by a clear lines and an ultra-flat toilet seat, and the intuitive operation make ViClean-I 100 an uncomplicated highlight in the modern bathroom.

The German Brand Award 2018

The German Brand Award has been presented by the German Brand Institute since 2016 and is an important award for successful brand management in Germany. The competition was initiated by the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag by the Federation of German Industries and several leading companies as a foundation. At present, there are 300 domestic and foreign companies in the donor community. The German Design Council supports companies in communicating their design and branding skills.
 
In 2018, 1,250 submissions participated in the German Brand Award. The evaluation process is transparent and follows clearly defined criteria. An independent, interdisciplinary specialist jury guarantees a factual and professional assessment of the participants.
