The 5th edition of Pitch Your Startup (PYSU) will be held in Luxembourg on 21 May 2019, during the ICT Spring.
This year, 60 local and international startups will have the opportunity to compete for the €100,000 cash prize.
In cooperation with Luxinnovation, Docler Holding launched the PYSU initiative in 2014 in order to assemble Luxembourg’s local players to support the country’s startup scene, attract international attention and foster innovative ideas. Since 2016, the international tech summit ICT Spring is home of the Pitch Your Startup contest. This is an annual tech summit dedicated to expanding networks for decision makers in IT, finance, banking and the web, as well as marketers, investors, entrepreneurs, innovation managers, start-ups, researchers and venture capitalists across Europe.
As in previous years, the PYSU competition is reserved for startups that have an average turnover of less than €500,000 and a headcount of maximum 15 persons. 60 startups will have a chance to pitch this May. They must fall into one of the four following categories: FinTech and RegTech; Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Big Data; Smart Living; Cybersecurity.
Each startup will have 3 minutes and 33 seconds to pitch, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A with the jury, composed of seasoned international experts.
Winners of the 2019 PYSU competition will be announced on 21 May during the ICT Spring Gala Dinner (separate registration required).
