The National Youth Service (Service national de la jeunesse - SNJ) has announced that the “Kannerjury” (children's jury) event took place on Wednesday 10 April 2024 at the Geesseknäppchen Forum as part of the “Kannerpräis”(children’s prize) project.

Among more than 100 projects submitted, a jury of experts named 24 finalist projects and the National Youth Service (SNJ) called on children to determine the winners of the Kannerpräis 2024. Immersed in the world of superheroes and under the slogan “Deng Meenung zielt! Entscheet mat – Spill mat” (your opinion counts! Help us decide – join in the game), more than 90 children from different structures (crèches, "maison relais" childminding services, other education structures, etc.) named the eight winners in an interactive and playful way and allocated second and third prizes.

The objective of the “Kannerpräis” project is to promote the projects of education and childminding services carried out with children, to make them more visible and to generate new inspiration, thus aiming to improve them.

The Kannerpräis 2024 awards ceremony will take place on 4 May 2024 at Abbaye de Neumünster (neimënster).
