This year marks the 30th anniversary of Delen Private Bank in Luxembourg.

The story of Delen Private Bank began in 1936 when André Delen established himself as a stockbroker in Antwerp, Belgium. Since then, the Private Bank has developed branches in the Netherlands, England, Switzerland and, in 1987, Luxembourg.

Delen Private Bank Luxembourg is part of a group managed by independent shareholders, which includes the Delen family. In 1992, Ackermans & van Haaren joined as shareholder and became the group's parent company.

Over the years, Delen Private Bank has acquired several private banks and wealth managers, which have allowed the bank to grow steadily whilst working to follow the UN’s principles of responsible investment. The bank is active in three main areas: portfolio management, fund administration and wealth management. It has 45 employees in Luxembourg and more than 340 in Belgium.

In recent years, Delen Bank has worked towards meeting tomorrow’s problems through technological developments in the banking sector. The bank has also revealed its intention to continue developing its base in the growing market of the Grand Duchy and the Greater Region.
