Luxembourg trade unions ALEBA, OGBL-SBA and LCGB-SESF and the ABBL today discussed counter-proposals put forth in previous meetings concerning the renewal of the Collective Labour Agreement for Bank Employees.
At the meeting of 1 March between the unions and the ABBL on this matter, the latter referred to various new ideas, upon which it elaborated on 15 March. These ideas, mainly related to the "Classification & Remuneration" component of the Collective Labour Agreement, were then discussed constructively at a meeting held the following day.
Following their examination of the proposals made by the ABBL, the trade unions put forth their own counterproposals on 21 March. These counter-proposals were discussed this Thursday 29 March 2018 which ended with the ABBL’s request for additional time to analyse them and its proposal to discuss the matter again at the next negotiating meeting, scheduled for Thursday 19 April.
