The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg will be hosting its 2018 Financial Services Evening Forum: “Hard of soft, what’s on the Brexit menu?” on 25 April 2018 at BIL in Luxembourg City at 18:00.

BIL’s Luc Frieden will chair the event, moderated by Nicolas Mackel from Luxembourg for Finance and supported by a panel of speakers: Simon Black (PPRO Group); Marie-Helene Massard (AXA); Jean-Christian Six (Allen & Overy).

The Evening Forum Event will reflect on the Brexit negotiations and consider the spectrum of potential outcomes which could impact EU financial institutions and change global financial services business models.

The impact of the UK’s exit from the EU on the financial services sector will be influenced by the agreements reached between governments and regulators on various pieces of legislation. How are firms responding to this shifting landscape and what steps are being taken to adjust to the impact of Brexit? Will the transition period from March 2019 help in adapting to a new trading relationship between the EU and UK?

The evening will begin at 18:00 with registration, whilst the conference is scheduled to begin at 18:30. To close the evening drinks and canapes will be provided as well as the opportunity to meet and discuss with fellow Chamber Members and the panellists.

The cost of attending the event is free for Sustaining Members, €30 for Business & Individual Members and €50 for Non-Members. Register at http://www.bcc.lu/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=181.
