The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) in Luxembourg has announced that it is organising a walking lunch and GDPR workshop entitled "Getting ready for GDPR" at Linklaters (35 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg-Kirchberg) on Thursday 3 May 2018 at 12:00.
The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018 is set to bring sweeping changes across the financial services sector. Its far-reaching range will transform the regulatory environment and it is essential that organisations fully understand the implications and be ready to implement the new rules.

The GDPR workshop will examine the scope of the new regulations and to discuss practical examples of how to apply them. GDPR will impact on a wide range of daily activities, transactions and reporting requirements throughout the financial industry. From compliance monitoring to change management, risk management to training, GDPR’s reach is extensive.
