The Institute for Global Finance Integrity (TIGFI) has announced the 59th Luxembourg Monthly Finance Lunch to take place on Wednesday 25 April 2018 at the Cercle Munster, from 12:00.

At the upcoming Luxembourg Monthly Finance Lunch for April, Douglass Welch, independent director, will speak on “Broader risk management issues in the fund industry”.

Expert in investment & risk management techniques, Doug Welch brings 30 years of equity derivatives trading experience to explore the Risk Management challenges currently facing market participants.  He recently ran the sales-trading activity of UniCredit Bank (London) Convertible Bond and Institutional Derivatives unit. Previously, he served as Head of Citibank’s CEEMEA Emerging Market Derivatives business and German Institutional Derivatives business.

Doug Welch has advised both Hedge Funds on capturing arbitrage opportunities and institutional investors on risk management and Alternative Investment product creation, addressing the prevailing investment themes.

Douglass Welch holds a bachelor of arts, economics and political science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and is certified as company director from the Institute of Directors, London.

The event will begin with drinks at 12:00, with Douglass Welch speaking from 12:30.
