Over €78.5k Raised for Kannerliicht Campaign for Syrian Children

In 2017, thanks to the support of UNICEF donors and Cactus clients, the sum of €78,555 was raised as part of the Kannerliicht campaign, whose goal is to provide emergency education for Syrian children.

Thanks to donations received during the Kannerliicht campaign- an "All an d'Schoul" project- UNICEF will be able to provide education to Syrian refugee children in Jordan, enabling them not only to join the school curriculum, but also to have a better future.

To ensure a future for Syrian children, UNICEF will create 100 new schools with morning classes and afternoon classes, distribute school materials, organise transportation of students to schools, support social workers in schools and set up informal catch-up programmes.
