Thanks to a €2,551 donation from Fifty One International Club Moselle, some fifty participants had the chance to take a helicopter trip over Namur in Belgium last month.

The donation, made by Georges Disewiscourt, President of Fifty One International Club Moselle and its members, allowed some fifty participants, including two children aged 7 and 10, to take part in this memorable experience organised by Stëmm vun der Strooss, with the help and commitment of Christian Vanderslyen, the volunteer and initiator of the excursion.

The bus departed to Namur on the morning of 22 June 2018 from in Esch-sur-Alzette and the participants enjoyed breakfast during the trip to Belgium. Upon arrival in Namur, they were divided into 12 groups of 4-5 people and the organisers noted the weight of each person for security reasons. Then the busy schedule began: a 12-minute helicopter flight for each group to the Citadel of Namur, a tour of the glider workshop, and finally, a free visit to the exhibition of aviation collectibles. There was something for all tastes and ages.
